The Bhubaneswar office was started in February 2007. Current programs (as of 2018) focus on strengthening of LGBTIQ+ community advocacy in areas of health, laws and policies, education; prevention and mitigation of violence and discrimination faced by the communities; HIV interventions in prisons and closed settings; and community-based screening for HIV. LGBTIQ+ related activities overseen by the Bhubaneswar office are located in Odisha, Kerala, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Manipur, Meghalaya and Nagaland.

  • Access: Support to AMANA to strengthen and scale up LGBTIQ+ advocacy in the North-East Region
  • Empower: Strengthening LGBTIQA+ collectives towards community-led advocacy and inclusive services
  • Sangraha: Promoting Inclusion and Access to Justice for LGBTIQ+ communities in India.
  • Subhiksha: Expanding Access to HIV counseling and testing in prisons and other closed settings
  • Vistaara: Expanding Access to LGBTIQ+ inclusive services in health, education, and laws/policies
